Welcome to our dirt palace

Howdy folks! Welcome to our debut of Bluebird Gallery & Folk Arts. We've been dreaming of this journey for decades. Come take a walk or virtual spin through our studio. We're making cool stuff to use, and pretty things to show.

Our studio is "halfway to Nashville," as we like to say. In the sort of suburban woods of East Tennessee. We try to get out in the green spaces of the world as often as we can.

It gives us inspiration, and reminds us beauty and creativity take practice. And to slow down and breathe, and once you've walked a bit have a snack, a beer, or both.

Our clay work runs the gamut, Mike mostly throws pots on the potters' wheel, Susan squishes slabs of clay and builds useful vessels as well as whimsical sculptures. We are always up to work with you on custom projects for you to love.

We also love to eat, chat and chill -- share with us how you like to get your foodie on with hand-made pottery and post to the blog. We are sure you'll inspire us!
